Barren inflorescence ear: A homozygous Bif1-N1440 mutant ear showing most florets missing along cob rachis.


Barren inflorescence heterozygous ear: Two ears of +/Bif1-N2001 mutant plants showing absence of florets from rachis, mostly from tip, and in elongated strip down the middle of the bottom ear.
